Your Wood Stove or Multifuel Stove should be installed by a HETAS accredited engineer and, as a company established for over 40 years, our engineers have the necessary skills, expertise and accreditations.

 

WHAT IS HETAS?

HETAS stands for 'Heating Equipment Testing and Approvals Scheme', and they are a non-profit organisation supporting cleaner and safer choices for solid fuels and solid fuel appliances. HETAS work with the government, industry experts and innovators who provide expert advice, training and clear evidence-based information. HETAS requires your Wood Stove, Multifuel Stove, or other Wood or Multifuel appliance, be installed by a HETAS registered engineer who is part of the competent person scheme and who has been thoroughly trained by HETAS to increase the safe and environmentally responsible use of solid fuels and appliances. We only employ engineers who are HETAS engineers. This means that our engineers have gone through rigorous training and routine inspections from HETAS, the regulatory body. You can be sure that, when you have your Wood Stove or Multifuel Stove installed by Simply Grate Stoves & Fireplaces, you are getting an installation that is safe for you and your family, installed to the highest standards possible and meeting all relevant building and HETAS regulations. Our engineers will provide you with a HETAS Certificate of Compliance, which details all aspects of your installation and provides you peace of mind should you ever need to make a claim on your warranty, for any reason.
