The Gas Safe Register is the only official gas registration body of gas businesses and engineers in the UK, operated on behalf of the relevant Health and Safety Authority – the Gas Safe Register replaced CORGI in 2009. Find out more about the Gas Safe Register here.

A Gas Safe engineer is one who has undertaken the necessary training through a recognised route and who has passed the relevant assessments. Gas Safe engineers will be subject to monitoring inspections to ensure that they are competent to work with gas appliance and any complaints made about a Gas Safe Engineer will be investigated by the Gas Safe Register.
